Exactly 16 weeks pregnant! : D

I am so excited to be in my second trimester now!  I was so sick during the first trimester and now all the negative symptoms that sometimes come with pregnancy are slowly disappearing.  I have also been very busy during my pregnancy because of nursing school.  It was hard to focus feeling so crummy, but I perservered and made it through.  Even though I would have rather slept the whole time.  During all this chaos I also ended up switching from an OB to a midwife.  I was just not getting what I needed out of the OB.  Every symptom I had I was being sent to the hospital. Like I really have the MONEY to be in and out of the hospital.  I also needed a refill for prenatal vitamins and she never called back.  So I am happy to say that now I have a midwife and I meet with her Monday.  I am so excited to have someone that is actually there for me and not the paycheck.  She spent almost an hour on the phone talking to me about my pregnancy and giving me great advice.  I felt better about my pregnancy within that an hour than I have the entire 15 weeks of my pregnancy.  I also am thankful for Bobby because he has been so supportive with school and this baby.  He already went out and bought boxes of diapers, plus bought me a breast pump.  Also, I have made more time to bond with my baby even with my hectic schedule.  I really love to listen to soft music, rub my belly, and lay next to Bobby.  Sometimes the simple things in life really are the best.

I'm PREGANT

1/14/2012-I am starting this blog to keep track of my progress while I am pregnant and to write down memories I can share with our little baby.  I found out on December 28, 2012 that I am going to be a mommy! Bobby and I are so excited and couldn't be happier.  We went to the doctor the next day to confirm it and we guessed that my due date is somewhere around August 19th, so as of now I am 9 weeks.  I just had my first OB appointment yesterday, but my ultrasound is scheduled for Tuesday.  I will find out more closely how far along I am.  I will keep you all updated.  I couldn't decide when to let everyone know I was pregnant, but I am just to excited to hold it in.  Bobby has been so concerned about my pregnancy and so supportive.  I know he is going to be a great dad! I would say the only thing that is tough so far about the pregnancy is the morning sickness (ALL DAY SICKNESS).  It is so bad, but I keep reminding myself it will pass.  I am a full time nursing student and I have a part time job and right now I am always exhausted.  If any of you mommies or daddies have advice for Bobby and I please just post something.  I know it will be so helpful.
